This is the courtyard just inside the first gates to the Taj Mahal. We were frisked in a most personal way after going through metal detectors on the way into the courtyard.
Heidi and Joey both were turned away for granola bars, a cell phone, walkie talkies, and peanuts. All apparently were unwanted in the Taj Mahal. The items were placed in a locker outside the exterior gates and we moved on after much fuss.
