At the center of the Tibetan Buddhist area in Nepal where we were staying was the Buddha Stupa.
This is the larges stupa in Nepal. A stupa is a huge circular monument with a tower in the center.
Atop the tower is a large square, painted on all sides with the eyes of Buddha.
This view is of the street surrounding the stupa, where one can see all the little shops. To the left is the exit from the walled stupa.
